Road Closures

Road closures will be effected 2-3kms around Zoo Lake. Park and Rides services available from Metro Centre in Braamfontein & Marks Park in Greenside, Marked shuttles will be also available to assist walkers within road closures. The busses will return back to do drop-offs at 5.30pm, please be sure not to miss them if hoping to catch them.

Celebrating turning 25 years old of Jazz on the Lake. The show will feature one of South Africa’s greatest female vocalists in the country, Zonke as well as Queen Cora (Cora C Coleman-Dunham), former drummer for Beyoncé and Prince, will be showcasing her drum mastery with a South African band of celebrated artists. Great pianist Nduduzo Makhathini, and winner of the Standard Bank Young Artist Award. Idols contestant Amanda Black whose debut studio album was certified platinum three weeks after its release. Jamaican Dancehall/Reggae singer and actress Alaine that has featured on many big hits both of her own and a rhythm section band featuring world renowned Reggae Jazz producer, arranger, song writer and saxophone player Dean Fraser.  Jazz and opera singer Sibongile Khumalo will also feature at Jazz on the Lake.
